Recruitment Disclaimer

It has come to our attention that individuals and organisations are fraudulently offering false employment opportunities in the name of Claywatt. We take this matter extremely seriously and work with the appropriate authorities to investigate and stop these fraudulent schemes.

By making you aware of this, we hope to prevent anyone from becoming a victim of such scams.

Do Not

Respond to unsolicited business propositions or job offers from people you do not know.

  • Disclose your personal or financial details to anyone you cannot verify.
  • Send any money. Claywatt never asks for money transfers or payments from applicants in order to secure employment, whether as an employee or contractor.
  • Continue communication if you suspect fraud. All genuine communication from Claywatt will only come from an official @claywatt.com email address.

How to Identify Recruitment Fraud

Fraudulent recruiters often:

  • Ask candidates to complete fake recruitment forms, such as applications, contracts, or visa documents, misusing the company name and logo.
  • Request sensitive personal information early in the process, including CVs, passport details, bank information, or addresses.
  • Instruct candidates to contact unrelated third parties (such as lawyers, travel agencies, or immigration services).
  • Send emails from free, web-based addresses (e.g. Gmail.com, Yahoo.com, Live.com), rather than official company domains.
  • Use unusual or suspicious telephone numbers instead of official company contact details.
  • Create a false sense of urgency, sometimes offering to cover part of a “fee” and asking the candidate to pay the rest.

If you receive any suspicious communication claiming to be from Claywatt, please do not respond. Instead, report it directly to us at info@claywatt.com.

Claywatt will never request payments, personal banking details, or sensitive information as part of our recruitment process.
