Project 2020

Project 2020 marked the redevelopment of three existing buildings to create the flagship headquarters for Anglo American plc and the De Beers Group.
Completed in September 2020, the project includes premium office space, a staff canteen, and a dining area. The development encompasses 17 Charterhouse Street, Saffron Hill, and the Saffron Hill Extension.

This complex redevelopment involved the partial demolition of existing structures and the exposure of the original structural frame. Two floors were carefully removed and subsequently reinstated, combining heritage preservation with modern design. The project proudly returns the historic business to the heart of London’s jewellery community, within the Hatton Garden Conservation Area.
