Millbank House, London​

The project involved the refurbishment of a Grade II* listed office block, including heritage repairs to existing wood panelling, mosaic tiling, roofing, stonework, and the façade. The overall project value was £21.5m.

Building works included the installation of a new glazed walkway to the internal courtyard, along with a multi-storey glass core containing a new lift. This provides improved circulation between all wings of the building and a garden space for use by peers.

The works at Millbank form a key part of the wider Parliamentary Estate refurbishment, with the completed building serving as decant space, enabling the release of significant works elsewhere across the estate.

This project was procured under the Southern Construction Framework (SCF), a collaborative framework, using a two-stage procurement process.
