Justice
Building and maintaining facilities fit for the 21st century for the Ministry of Justice.
The Government’s vision is to create a modern justice estate that prioritises both security and rehabilitation in every aspect of its design. Our work supports this ambition through a diverse range of projects, including prisons, probation offices, and courts, each tailored to meet the unique operational needs of the justice system.
Working primarily through the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Construction Works Framework and the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) Constructor Services Framework, we are committed to upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency, delivering environments that support rehabilitation and long-term social value.

Alliance for new prisons
As a trusted partner of the Ministry of Justice (MoJ), we are committed to helping build a better future for prisoners — creating environments that support rehabilitation and offer the opportunity to get back on track.
Recently, we were awarded a £500 million Government contract in partnership with Kier through the Crown Commercial Service (CCS) Framework. Together, we are leading an alliance of hundreds of small businesses to deliver new house blocks across six prisons, providing accommodation for over 2,600 offenders and helping to create more than 2,000 jobs nationwide.

Operating in secure environments
In these highly secure environments, we place the utmost importance on the wellbeing and safety of everyone involved — our teams, prison staff, and inmates alike. From obtaining the necessary security clearances to maintaining a strong focus on mental health and wellbeing, we take every measure to minimise the impact of working within these sensitive facilities and ensure that all activity is carried out safely, respectfully, and efficiently.

Modern and ambitious
We are constantly seeking better ways of working, which is why we focus on modern methods of construction, digital design, and sustainability. By embracing these approaches, we help the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) progress towards its ambition of achieving a net zero carbon estate.
For our new house block project at HMP Stocken, we utilised our offsite manufacturing facility in Coventry to fabricate 27 three-storey risers, which were installed in just three days, saving three weeks of labour time and demonstrating the efficiency and value of offsite construction.
