Home Office Intake Unit, Kent

In October 2022, Claywatt completed a major project for the Home Office on Channel View Road in Dover. The works included the conversion of an existing warehouse into a two-storey unit with full furnishings, cladding replacement, and new perimeter fencing. The project also involved cliff stabilisation works.

To minimise disruption, Claywatt worked closely with local businesses and residents, providing regular updates and ensuring safe construction access through the busy port area.

Thanks to our support for the local community, commitment to workforce welfare, and best environmental practices, the project achieved the highest score of 45/45 in two consecutive Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) audits, demonstrating excellence in construction standards and community engagement.
