Emergency Fire Safety Works In Manchester

In November 2017, we began an emergency works contract to remove and replace Aluminium Composite Material (ACM) cladding from 13 high-rise residential tower blocks for One Manchester.

This 12-month programme involved close collaboration with the Department for Communities and Local Government, the Homes and Communities Agency, the Greater Manchester Taskforce, building control, planning authorities, and independent fire experts to ensure the works were completed quickly, safely, and in line with current guidance and regulations.

Throughout the project, the team’s primary concern was the safety and security of residents living in the high-rise blocks. This included holding regular resident meetings to provide updates and peace of mind for those affected.
