A three-year contract for the maintenance and servicing of all lifts for Tamworth Borough Council
Commencing in April 2017, the £300,000 per year contract covers lifts in high-rise tower blocks, sheltered accommodation, and stair lifts in individual properties.
The contract includes six tower blocks, comprising a total of 58 flats allocated to elderly residents, many of whom have additional access requirements, such as mobility scooters. Resident access is a priority, with around-the-clock lift breakdown cover in place.
The project is being delivered alongside other contracts for Tamworth Borough Council, including refurbishment work to six high-rise blocks, responsive repairs, and void property works.
