Office fit out, probation service

Claywatt’s longstanding relationship with the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) has provided a deep understanding of its estates’ requirements.

In 2022, we were appointed to fit out and refurbish 12 probation offices as part of a nationwide programme to modernise estates used by the Probation Service in England and Wales.

One of the first projects completed was the Probation Service (PS) Ipswich office, which involved a full strip-out of a 1980s office building, followed by the reconfiguration and refurbishment of the space. Works included new office facilities, superloo toilets, upgraded mechanical and electrical services, flooring, and breakout areas.

This project offered a unique insight into the vital work delivered by Probation Service staff, and Claywatt is proud to have contributed to enhancing facilities that support this essential service.
