Claywatt has provided M&E, fabric maintenance, minor project works, and horticulture services to Twycross Zoo since June 2016.
Twycross Zoo, an award-winning conservation charity, spans 80 acres in Leicestershire and cares for over 500 animals, including all four types of great ape — notably housing the UK’s only group of Bonobos.
The zoo welcomes over 500,000 visitors annually and hosts numerous large-scale events. Delivering this contract required careful consideration of the live animal environment, varying climatic conditions, and ongoing conservation efforts across the park.
